BILL HORSLEY AGAIN NAMED IN
THE BEST LAWYERS IN AMERICA 2005-2006
Bill Horsley has once again been selected by a nationwide
peer review to be included among the nation’s top lawyers
listed in the 2005-2006 edition of The Best Lawyers in
America. Bill is one of a distinguished group of attorneys who
have been listed in Best Lawyers for ten years or longer.
Best Lawyers has come to be regarded - by both the legal
profession and the public - as the definitive guide to legal
excellence in the United States. Best Lawyers has been
featured in numerous national publications, including The New
York Times, Forbes, and The Washington Post, and is the basis
of more than 50 "best lawyer" features in regional
newspapers and metropolitan magazines every two years.
Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers "the
most respected referral list of attorneys in practice."
Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review
survey in which 16,000 leading attorneys throughout the
country cast more than half a million "votes" on the
legal abilities of other lawyers in their specialties, and
because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be
listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular
honor.
Horsley’s practice emphasizes serious personal injury,
medical negligence and product liability law. A 1972 graduate
of the Wake Forest University School of Law, he is a past
President of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, a
4,000 member bar association dedicated to protecting the
rights of injured people. He has also consistently achieved a
rating of "AV" - the highest possible rating for
legal achievement and integrity - from Martindale-Hubbell Law
Directory. He is also an "Advocate" in the American
Board of Trial Advocates, an organization of both plaintiff
and defense lawyers dedicated to the preservation of the right
to trial by jury.
